Intro

Good Morning and Welcome to The Bridge Church, My name is Pastor Tim. I’ve had the privilege of being on staff at The Bridge for the past 4 years and have just been blessed to be apart of what God is doing here in Delaware County!
This morning I am going to be kicking off a new series, It’s one that we do every year called “Life Verse” this year we are going to be focusing on the bible at large. While we are still going to encourage you to select a verse that you will allow God to use in you this year, we want to also give you the tools to be able to get into the scripture and allow God to change your heart and your life. We are going to be going through the “SOAP” method. Soap stands for:
S - Scripture
O - Observation
A - Application
P - Prayer
The reason we as a church have conversations like this is because reading and being able to understand God’s word, his whole word, is incredibly important. God’s word is where we are able to gain a better understanding of who God is and what he wants for us.
